Everyone with a website these days wants a shite load of traffic, that’s no secret.
The problem is that no one strategy fits everyone’s website or niche, you need to experiment with various promotional methods. .
The overall process I follow is simple:
1. Create awesome content – using my checklist. 2. Promote the hell out of that content (using the tips below) 3. Let it convert – setup your website for the sale or email subscription.
I am, however, not as qualified as the best marketers and entrepreneurs out there on the web.
So instead of following what I do, I brought together the best techniques from the world’s best and most popular internet marketers & entrepreneurs. Needless to say, I’ve gone through every single one of these posts and checked them out, to make sure they’re worth sharing!
The goal behind this post is to be a bit of an ultimate resource.

I first read Mike’s website years ago and he was barely 20 and making well over $100,000 a year online.
This guy was just a kid that was obsessed with making money online and driving traffic to websites. Now in his 20’s he has become a respected and sought after Entrepreneur – he offers a little insight into his traffic techniques.
I’m a huge fan of Mike’s writing because it is actionable, easy to follow and Income Diary is one of the websites I check out the most.
Derek Halpern and his website Social Triggers stand out form the crowd.
He does this by sidestepping all of the fancy design, clutter and mess that blogging attracts and offers simple, how-to advice and common sense to teach you valuable concepts behind growing a website or business.
What’s really cool? Most of his posts are videos! So get comfy and check some of these out.
7 Ways that Content Goes Viral I’m sure you want your content to go viral, right? Derek takes a look at what prompts people to share something and make it go viral.
“Should I use those annoying popups?” You’ve seen them and you don’t like them. But when they’re used they get subscribers, so Derek answers this question on whether or not you should use pop up email opt-in forms.
Point Blank SEO is Jon’s vehicle. It’s about, you guessed it – Search Engine Optimization or SEO.
Increasing traffic through SEO can be a daunting task, but Jon offers some content which is packed with actionable tips and is also very comprehensive. If you want to get started in SEO for your website, check out Point Blank SEO for sure.

Ultimately you want to make a sale, gain an email subscriber or gain some kind of connection with the reader. That’s the final thought I’d like to leave you with.
